I just talked to a very nice Canon person and of course she could give no specific inside information, but she did say March and September are typically the two times of the year new PowerShots are announced.
Anyone know the best way to root Canon on for releasing the next iteration of the PowerShot SX70 HS? (assuming SX80 HS) I'm an avid backpacker still using an S3 IS, and my former housemate, pro photographer friend (grandfather of skateboard photography, very much a Canon guy who actually took his first skater shots with my AE1 at the time) is telling me I've really got to upgrade!
