Spots in pictures with solid background

I'm noticing spots when i take pictures in a dimly lit area or with a solid background.

I take pictures of vehicles and it looks like the seats are dirty.

has anyone had this problem? IMG_1099.JPG

Looks like possibly a droplet of water or something on the rear element of the lens?

Why do so many people say "FER-tographer"? Do they take "fertographs"?

I would guess internal lens flare. The exact same things happens with an Olympus TG-5
