The playback button seems to fall deeper into the camera than other buttons when I press it. It is really loose and wobbly it seems. Is this normal or is it a cause for concern? Would it also be easy to repair or fix if it got too loose?

Greetings ,
Repair options for this body are limited as it is end of life and over 11 years old.
midwestcamera dot com maybe a good repair resource.
I don't typically advocate self-repair. If it doesn't work out, your camera may be completely inoperable. Midwest camera will give you a free estimate if this camera is one they can service.
