Powershot SX540 recording to macbook

I have a sony powershot sx540 and I want to connect it to my macbook while recording. So if im using my camera to record downwards I cant see the screen to see what is in shot, i want to connect it to my macbook while i am recording so that my macbook screen will show what i am recording and i can see that everything is in the frame. 

Can this be done?

Canon PowerShot cameras do not offer support for remote live shooting from a computer.
