LCD works, but doesn’t show any picture - PowerShot S410

Older sister gave me an old powershot s410 and said it’s broken. It turns on, it takes pictures, lens can zoom, looks fine and zooms through viewfinder. All the display stuff and settings show up, but it doesn’t actually show what I’m looking at. I know nothing about cameras at all, is it fixable or would it be too much effort than the camera is worth?

The LCD only shows an image that you have already taken.
