Connect Powershot SX 520 to computer for video recording

I have a bit old PowerShot SX 520 HS that I am trying to connect to my Computer for recording video. Is there a way to do this? I can't seem to find anything in the documentation. I tried downloading the software but it says no camera found when I launch it. Nothing seems to be working. 
My computer is a Mac if that matters.

Hi there,

Unfortunately this is not something the Powershot SX520 is set up to do so there is not a function within the camera to enable external recording to a computer.
