Accidentally grouped a set of images on Powershot SX730 HS

I accidentally grouped a set of images on my Powershot camera and can't find how to undo the set. If I want to erase one or two images in the set, I'm afraid all images in the set will be erased. How can I ungroup the images in the set?

What do you mean by "grouped a set of images? Images are in separate folders? How do the images appear on the memory card?

In looking through the User Manual, it appears that certain ways of taking photos will automatically group them.

Page 92 though mentions a way to ungroup them... see the paragraph starting with "To ungroup images so that they are displayed only as single still images, ..."   See also page 29.
