I just bought a Canon MG2555S printer and now I can not use it until Monday (tomorrow is Sunday and shops are closed) becasue of you didn't include a stupid usb a to b cable! I mean seriously! If you don't include an important cable at leaset please mention it somewhere on the box where it is clearly visible so that we can read it and can purchase it with the printer!
Never buying another Canon product. So disappointed... Hope the printer won't be missing any of other important parts...

I have paid enough money to get this printer and required accessories , USB cable cost is maybe 50 Cent !!!
This is not fair , I will not recommending anyone to buy Printer with Canon brand!!!

SURE... I will have to run out and get a cable TOMORROW.... when it is too late by then to get my pictures printed and sent in my Christmas cards. VERY LAME excuse "a majority of people already have an exsisting printer, and to use that cable. What about a new printer for your child??? What about ME buying this printer to replace my WIRELESS printer?? I see that this product has 18 1 star reviews, and only 5 5-star. Does that tell you anything??? ALL of the 1-star reviews were about this USB cable NOT included in the box. PRINT THAT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX SO CUSTOMERS ARE AWARE. SHEESH

This is a garbage answer. Your products shoud come with everything needed to operate the product. Usb cables are cheap, however when sold seperately in stores they are subject to arbitrary price mark ups. Packaging the cord with the product is what should be done.
If I went to buy a TV, and I got home only to find there was no power cord for said tv, this would not be acceptable.
I've got a big project due, now I can't print it out... Now I'm going to be late since I have no other means of printing this out. I do not own a car and the nearest office supply store is thirty miles away. So if I lose my job over this... thanks canon.

Gals and dudes, I feel you pain. I'm just finishing the setup of my FIRST PRINTER, G4510 series, and yup, no cord. At first I was thinking if I was going stupid or something, did I lose it? No. Not included. By the way, it isn't the standard cord you get with mobile phones either, so no luck. PS: Canon, mobile phone users usually upgrade also, yet the cord is included. What were you thinking?
Oh for eff sake, who's the product manager of yours?

After carefully reading through all the concerns/complaints/angers from customers and "responsible" responses from Canon, I have just put the MF733CDW machine back into the box and will return it first thing tomorrow. I just bought this machine today which has exactly the same issue as other customers. The cable itself worths nearly nothing, but Canon's attitude matters. If the customer care does not care, then you feel free to keep your arrogancy (some people call it "stupidity") but you simply don't deserve to have these customers. Bye Canon.

actually ordered a cheap one on amazon, arrived on time, however as I was disappointed without the USB Cable, there was a freaking spider inside the bag where the printer was inside the box while it was sealed shut, man quality control sucks apparently

Crazy story I Have to say once it's is on, the print quality is great. Just set up the bleeds with a few tests. I made a grid - it's not as like setting 3mm on each side, you need to manouver. Strange product indeed. Gave it a 3 on Amazon, but if it was properly set up for me, without cord issues and spiders, 4-5 would be achived.

4 years later and the necessary cables are still not supplied despite constant feedback that it's crap.
Yet another person who won't ever be buying an unusable brick from canon again.
