How do I remove this error code?

Hello.

The error that you described indicates that there is an internal hardware issue with the printer.  Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:

1.  Turn the printer off.

2.  Unplug the power from the printer for at least 5-10 minutes.

3.  While unplugged, remove any paper from the unit.

4.  Double check for any obstructions found in the unit or paper paths.

5.  If no obstructions are found, plug the power back in and turn the unit on to see if the error has cleared.

If the issue persists, the unit will require service for correction.  If the unit has been purchased within one year, please contact our phone support group at 1-800-652-2666 for warranty options.

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
