Selphy CP910 Printer prints images beyond edges

amg313

I purchased my Selphy CP910 specifically to print photos from my iPhone. No matter what app I use, no matter what format I send, no matter what ratio the image is in, it ALWAYS prints beyond the edge of the photo and when I tear off the edges, part of my image goes with. What can I do so that I can stop wasting paper and ink trying to make this work properly? I've tried adding a border but then my prints are too small and with a small border the long side of the photo ends up with a wider border than the short side. This is so frustrating. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Hello.

When borderless printing is enabled, the printer will extend the image beyond the edge of the paper.  This is how we can guarantee an edge to edge bleed.  To prevent this, you would have to use the bordered option instead.  Trimming or cropping your image before printing may also help as well.
