Have PIXMA MX882

I want to conserve colored tanks when printing black and white documents. How?

Re: Have PIXMA MX882

Hi carol970,

You can set the printer to print in grayscale mode so that only the large black ink tank in the unit is used when printing on plain paper to conserve the color ink used by the printer.  So we can provide you with instruction for selecting the grayscale printing option, please reply with what operating system is on your computer (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or version of Mac OS X).

If this is a time-sensitive matter, additional support options are available at Contact Us.
