Canon Ivy Mini Printer says it's jammed no matter what I do to fix it.

I've had my little Canon Ivy for a few years and never had a problem with it until about 2 weeks ago. Anytime I try to print anything, it says the printer is jammed.

 

I've restarted it, restarted my phone, reconnected it, checked the printer paper, taken the paper out and reloaded it, and nothing has worked. Can anyone help me?

Found this as I was having the same problem and it turned out to be because I was loading the paper upside down...

Hi gummibearninja7,

 

Please make sure that you are only using comptible ZINK photo paper with your IVY printer.

 

If the issue persists, your IVY would require service.

 

To obtain service for your IVY printer, please log in to your My Canon Account:

 

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com/signin

 

1.  Once logged in, click on your IVY Printer

 

2.  Click on the Product Support button

 

3.  Scroll to the bottom and click on the Start Repair button

Found this as I was having the same problem and it turned out to be because I was loading the paper upside down...

THANK YOU! This was exactly the problem. Flipped over my paper, and it worked perfectly. I love how the Canon tech support response was to send the unit in for service. Ridiculous.
