I recently purchased an mg5422 but the scanner is not working. It is linked to my desktop via usb. it prints fine, copies great,it just doesnt scan. What is the solution?

In order for us to assist with this issue we will need more information. Please let us know what version of Windows or Mac you are using. Also, please let us know what exactly happens when you try to scan. IF you receive an error, please let us know the exact wording of the error.
