imageCLASS MF656Cdw How to scan both sides of an ID card

I just bought a Canon Color imageCLASS MF656Cdw Laser Printer.  I know how to copy and print both sides of an ID card on the same side paper, but how can I scan, not print, to my computer, the same information?

Greetings,

There is an ID card scan option on the printer's LCD menu.  I just tried it and it prints after both sides of a card are scanned.

To scan to your PC, I would use the MF Scan Utility.  If the documents be scanned can be fed through the ADF both sides can be scanned in one pass.  There's a check box.

In the case of a ID card, scan one side, flip it over and place it a little ways down from the top of the page to capture the back.
