I have had my Canon MD452dw for only about 2 months and now when I print on the bottom of the back of the page there is a light gray band (as if in extra ink smudged across). I have done the self-cleaning that the printer has, and it did not fix the issue. Oddly, if I print double sided, both sides are clean and there is no gray line or smudges.
Any ideas as to what is causing this and how to stop it?
Thank you,
Josh

Hello Josharci,
If you are getting streaks on the back side of the paper you can try cleaning the Fixing assembly 2-3 times to see if the smudges start to fade. If that does not resolve the issue, you can try reseating the toner cartridges and checking for any loose toner powder that can be wiped up with a damp cloth. If that does not resolve the issue, I would suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to check the hardware and can provide service options if needed.
