I currently have 4 D1600 models (3 D1620 and 1 D1650) that just within the last 3 weeks started to have their ethernet "go into hibernation" which is the best way for me to explain it. Power cycling does not wake it, turning off sleep settings does not fix it and I know it is just the ethernet because the D1650 is setup for faxing and those are coming through without an issue. All of these MFPs are hardwired obviously and given static ips on the network and have not had any issues until recently. When printing stops I cannot ping any of the devices from any workstation or server like it was directly unplugged.
If I reseat the ethernets everything starts to work again like nothing happened so I do not suspect its any cabling but I tried to replace some and still the same results. I have made no major changes to the office and still have 2 other HP printers on the same network that have no issues as all. All firmware has been fully updated on the printers as well.
Currently have unifi equipment in the office incase there is a weird known issue with them and canon that I cannot find.
Any thoughts?
