can't install toner cart in new MF267dw

Just installing a new MF267dw. The 051 compatible toner cartridge slides in OK but when the cover tries to close there is a white plastic shape that prevents the cover from closing.  Is that supposed to be removed.  Setup manual does not show it.this won't let cover close on cart

Problem solved.  The plastic bit is meant to be there.  Could not install new cart because the machine came with one which was already in place and unnoticed.  Duh.
