Pixma MX892 will not power on. the alarm lamp came on for a second and then turned off. plz help

I printed something yesterday. today the printer was off and would not power up. I unplugged and plugged into another outlet and the Alarm Lamp (amber triangle) came on for a bit and then turned off.  any suggestions??
