Hi various threads on this matter, but all seem to be about network print commands.
My new printer is set Eco/Auto on off/15 mins Auto on/on
Goes to sleep, but does not wake when I print via USB or Network. Have to press power [ON] to wake up and print from que.
Using Linux Ubuntu Budgie.
Thanks for any advice.

Hello BigAlGeorge,
From what I can see, the MB2160 does not have official drivers for Linux. Since the MB2160 is a Canon Australia model, you can check with them using the link provided HERE to see if they have any additional options for Linux support.

Yea, I had the right print drives.
What Im finding is that if I use the wireless printer, it works, but USB wont until printer is woken by manual, or wireless print.
