Here is the hardware / software info:
- imageClass MF733 Printer
- MacBook Air running OS Sonoma 14.7.4
- Scanner Driver & Utilities for Mac V2.15.17 [macOS 10.14.6 - macOS 15.2] dated 01.17.25
- MF Printer Driver & Utilities for Mac V10.11.12 [macOS 10.14.6 - macOS 15.2] dated 01.17.25
- Fax Driver & Utilities for Mac V4.15.19 [macOS 10.14.6 - macOS 15.2] dated 01.17.25
PROBLEM: I can print using WiFi and can scan and send to email without issue (yes I changed my SMTP settings to get the email working), but select "Scan to Computer" from the printers touch screen gives me the following error message, "Connect the Computer". And the Canon Scan Utility gives me this message, "Cannot communicate with any of the scanners. The scanners may not be connected, or may be turned off."
However the Apple "Image Capture" app sees the scanner.....so the laptop and scanner can communicate.
I have deleted the printer and reloaded the drivers and re-installed the printer.....nothing seems to help.
SUGGESTIONS???
-Thank You
