MF731Cdw couldn't pick up the paper for scan. It said "there is paper jam" when no paper jam.

Hi,

Model : MF731Cdw

When I try to scan, it couldn't pick up the paper from a scan feeder.

I guess feed roller for scanning has been worn out or something.

I can use glass scanning but that's not convenient when you need dozens of scans.

What can I do?

Or at least can I get the feed roller to replace?

Hello,

If you are getting a jam message when using the ADF, you can try cleaning the ADF using the steps in the link HERE. While cleaning the rollers, you can also inspect the slots the paper feeds though for any obstructions. You can also try blowing the paper feed path with compressed air.

If that does not resolve the issue, it would mean the printer needs service. In this situation, you can check your service options from your MyCanon account. You can contact our parts team at 1-866-481-2569 if you would like to purchase any replacement parts.
