MAXIFY MB5120 Need to get cartridge out to remove sticker

I need to take the sticker off the cartridge I installed already, but the printer won't let me get to the cartridges until they are empty.  Is there a hack, shortcut, secret????

If the packing material is still stuck on the tank and the ink tank is loaded, you can try unplugging the printer from the power without shutting it down and then sliding the ink carriage over by hand. If it is locked in place, you can try turning it off and unplugging it one more time. If you are unable to slide the ink over or reach the sticker, I would suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666.
