For unknown reason, my printer GX7000 series won't print in colors anymore even I clearly still have the blue, yellow and pink ink about 3/4, it just only print black & white no matter if I print from computers, smartphones or photo copy (I did pressed GREEN button). I haven't touched any settings since a year ago. I have tried to reset everything to default, it's still printing black & white
Is it the firmware problem? The firmware version is 1.130

I had the same problem. No amount of nozzle cleaning solved the issue. Instead, I removed the print-head (very simple videos on YouTube) and washed it through with hot water. Refitted then went to Maintenance and found Ink Flush. After running that flush for 9 mins all was back to normal!

Yep. When deep cleaning cycles don’t resolve the problem nothing to lose by doing You Tube video head cleaning. It frequently works.

Hi - did you ever get this resolved...I have had exactly the same thing happen to me (exactly the same re the printing etc as well)?

There are apparently a number of folks having this exact issue, but I haven't seen any reported resolution. After fiddling with my printer all day, I finally fixed mine. I have a GX7021, connected via WiFi to a Win11 machine. My firmware is ver 1.160, my driver is 3.85.1.80. I've had it for a few months and do small runs nearly every day, with no problems at all until today. My page count is now 629, my black ink level just over 50%, B, R, and yellow all just over 75%. I also HAD only 40% usage of the maintenance cartridge.
So, I went from perfect full-color prints one day to perfect B&W but no color whatsoever the next. I tried a number of 3rd party suggestions to fix mine, and ran several deep cleanings as suggested here and elsewhere. Not a spec of color from any of that. Then I saw on one of the other threads where someone had noticed bubbles in his yellow feed line. That prompted me to do an ink flush. It used up about 5% of my ink and a whopping 30% of the maintenance cartridge, but (knock on wood), the problem is solved. From no color at all this morning to flawless color this evening.
