I used to get an option to print in B&W or color. That isn't happening. When I print, I only get grayscale. I've done the cleaning but that hasn't changed anything. Typically when it needs a cleaning, the colors come out off or streaked. Now, they are strictly grayscale. This hasn't happened before. It seems there is some odd little setting that has gotten changed. I've checked updates and all is OK. What could possibly be causing this?

Well, after all that frustration, it took 2 deep cleanings and then an ink flush. I only did one deep cleaning originally. Thanks for your input.

Hi Marci,
What version of Windows is installed on your computer?
If you are using a Mac, what version of the macOS is installed?
Are you using your MAXIFY GX6021 wirelessly? If so, please attempt to print using the Canon PRINT app.
Does color appear when printing from that app?

I'm in Windows 11.
I use it wirelessly from my laptop and wired from my PC.
I downloaded the Canon PRINT app to the laptop but haven't been able to get anything printed. I get this message:
Not using the app, I made a few tweaks. Then I did a print preview on a test page, it showed color but when it printed, it was grayscale. Previously, the preview would be grayscale as well.
It makes no sense that the printer would stop printing color. We had the electricity go out the other day but I cannot remember if the printing issue was before or after. It's as if the printer doesn't recognize color. And I no longer get the option of printing in color or B&W.

I also tried a full re-install. The printer is not recognizing color.

One more update on this. When I use the app as suggested, the printer still does not print in color. It's as if the printer doesn't recognize color.
