My #1 need: I want to scan from the computer. Both when it is Wired or wireless.
I installed printer/scanner MF728CDW when it was set on the wireless lan (wifi). I changed my mind and I wanted to use it also on the ethernet (wired).
I can scan over wifi, but when I set MF to ethernet, the software (Canon MF Network Scanner Selector, CMFNSS) shows only the MAC address of wifi card on printer. What I would like to do is to add "another" scanner to the list, but there is no option to do that! I can print when wired but can't scan..
Tweaking regedit didn't give me any wiser. CMFNSS show only one scanner (on wifi).
I can't see the point of CMFNSS, because you can't actually select anything or add new scanners.
Please help me solving, how to add another scanner on the CMFNSS's list of printers.
