How to calibrate the scan color of a MF741Cdw?

Is there a way to permanently calibrate my MF741Cdw scanner, so that every scan done after that has reality-matching colors?  Out of the box, the color is pretty far off.  Any help will be much appreciated.

1. What version of the Mac or Windows operating system are you using on your computer?
2. Are you scanning from the MFscan utility or are you scanning from the operation panel on the scanner?
3. Would you be able to post a sample image of the color issue?
4. Do you run into the same issue when you perform a copy?
