Canon MF4370dn prints the first page and blank page, then throws error "wrong paper size"

Hello,

Every time I print, the printer prints the first page and blank page, then beep, throwing the error "paper size and settings mismatch" - Everything is set to A4 -in the driver, on the printer, etc.

I do not understand why it prints two pages and then tells me there is a mismatch. If i open and close the drawer, it will print the second page again and then the third page (blank), and give me the same error again.

Can you help me resolve the error? Can it be fixed by myself or this error is somthing that should be fixed in service center?

Hi, Bladeless!  You referenced a range of models and it would really help the Community if you could let us know which specific model you're using.  That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Danny, My MF4370dn is exhibiting the exact same problem. I have reloaded  the software and still have the issue.

I have 3 different PCs on the network along with an iPad Air and a Samsung phone. No matter which device I try to print from the same problem on the MF4370dn appears.

I am using the Letter paper size here and have it chosen in the printer driver.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The imageCLASS MF4370dn is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.

Hope this helps!
