Canon Ir 2204 fail to be detected after window reinstall

Hi every one
My canon mentioned above have failed to be detected via usb cable after reinstalling windows 7, the printer driver install well untill when it needed the printer code to be pluged into the pc for detection, it fails to detect at this step, and the whole process halt, the error message need me to unplug the printer cable, turn off the device, plug again and turn on the device, I have done so tenth of time but nothing is working. Any help will be appreciated
