Can I use the black cartridge only in a  Canon MAXIFY mb2140?

Hello, 

Is it possible to use the black cartridge only in a Canon MAXIFY MB2140? I rarely use the colour cartridge. Cyan🔵 has run out and now I can't print or make copies until I replace the cartridge.
