Unable to Return Defective IVY Mini Photo Printer

Hi! I recently purchased the IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer November 3, 2025. I opened the product and used two of the photo papers, but both came out extremely dark with a blue tint I was not able to fix through repeated calibrations with the blue calibration sheet. When I called, I explained this and was told an RMA number could not be provided to me because it was opened. I would not have been able to tell this was a problem if I did not use the printer, so it's a little disappointing since this makes it defective/unusable to me. I understand a full refund cannot be completed because I used two of the photo papers, but for a product over $100 I would hate to let it sit unused. My only concern is that if I were to get a response in this thread, it wouldn't be by the 17th, so I would not be able to further discuss this since I did not receive an RMA number within the 14 day window. Just wanted someone's opinion on this!

Please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

Once logged in, click on your IVY printer and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support. A Technical Support Representative can determine the cause of the issue and resolve it or provide you with your available service options.
