I forget the exact name for it, but it's for a video camera, I believe.

I thought it was the PL mount normally used for video... but I looked up the PL mount and it's not quite right.  I'm not sure what it is.

Hi Bradbury!

 

The lens mount you uploaded pictures of is 2/3" mount.  The lens is a broadcast lens, which is what the "BCTV" on the lens indicates.  Amfoto1 is correct that it is for a video camera.  It mounts to a 2/3" broadcast camera.

Going to piggy back off this threat instead of creating a new one.

Found this $8 lens on ebay, so cheap, and local to me, so just bought it, but I'm not sure what the mount is. Hopefully something that has an adapter available. 

 

The lens is described as: Canon Fit Owen Automatic MC F= 28mm f/2.8 58 Lens

 

Haven't gotten the lens in the mail yet, but here is a pic of the back. Is that an FD mount? Not very familiar with canon mounts.
