Did you mean:

Hello. I have blurry photos with my Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-300mm IS USM.

Is this a normal result from this lens?
I looked at the other tread and this lens seems to be far more blurry than the ones posted.

I appreciate any help in determining the issue!

Thanks.

David

Your issue is not sharpness it is contrast. Is there a fog or mildew on the lens?

Do you have any special style settings? Try using green square.

How close were you when you took this?

I was 5-6 feet away...full zoom...

Her's one with 70mmIMG_8087.JPG

The closest focus distance is 5 feet, you might be too close.

I could be wrong but the picture appears to be washed out (lack of contrast) but not exactly blurry?

I downloaded it and did a quick contrast and brightness adjustment:

Thanks....I tried that too.

Seemed like it should be clearer than that without any "fixes"

You need to check your exposure. There isn't anything wrong with being blurry or I can't tell until exposure is correct.  Your shots are over exposed.
