Overnight ive noticed a barrel wobble on my lens just forward of af/mf and focus limiter switch? It hasn't been dropped or knocked . Ive seen the youtube video move the rubber focusing ring and tighten the screws BUT the screws are tight? it af focuses ok and zooms ok is the a fix without spending £100s of pounds to send it canon to fix it

Send it to Canon for a C&C.

That lens is still in service life with us, and you are able to send it to us and request that the zoom barrel be tightened.

The repair options will vary depending on your location and are subject to change every few months, so I would suggest that you email to get the latest repair details for your area:
