Hey guys. I just bought a Canonscan 9000f Mark II to scan my films, but the scans didn’t come out as I expected. I’ve read and watched a lot of different tutorials, but still the colors and sharpness of the images are crap. I made a comparison between a picture that the lab I used to send my films had scanned for me and scanned the same picture in my canon 9000f, using exactly the same color profile they use. They use a Fuji SP-3000. The pictures came out quite different. I know that the Fuji SP-3000 is a professional scan and the canon flatbed scan isn’t, but still, the quality of the picture scanned by the canon 9000f mark II is really bad (even in 9600dpi). Does anybody know what the problem could be?
