CanoScan 8800F - Re: MP Navigator and High Sierra

Actually i have run MP Navigator EX 1.0, but it has worked perferctly until I installes Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.5.

I get a message that this OS only works with 64 bits apps, and MP Navigator EX is a 32 bits app.
I use MP Navigator EX to scan. My scanner is a CanoScan 8800F, and my printer a Xerox Phaser 6500.
I can't do without my scanner, so what do I do?

Yeah, it is too bad this Canon scanner is now just a pile of JUNK!

It’s a paradox, to say the least, that in these times of environment awareness, climate change, circular economy and you name it, the software society force us to let the dustman take care of our hardware, because not only do they make 100 per cent working and modern equipment useless for us – they also force it into obsolescence for anyone, so that it can not be sold or given away.

I have been able to use the 32 bit version of VueScan up until the advent of MAC OS Catalina.
