At what size should I resize my images for best quality in the “share your photo” threads?

Hi @DonnyQ the community has a file size limit when posting an image in a topic of 5MB. A good rule of thumb is to post the highest resolution possible.

cc, is that per photo when loading multiple photos or total? As you surmise, I'm new at this.

Hi @Tintype_18 Any number of images within a single post can not exceed 5MB.

It's 5MP per image.  If you exceed that the system will let you know and reject the image.
