The Canon t3i doesn't have the same option as the Nikon D5200 for a WU-1a Wireless Adaptor? Really?

I am considering the Canon T3i and the Nikon D5200. The one feature I really like on the Nikon is their optional feature for using the WU-1a Wireless Adaptor to send pictures to my smart phone. I haven't found yet if Canon has the same optional feature...can anyone chime in on this please? Thanks all!

Nikon has an optional feature for a Wireless adaptor (WU-1a) which will transmit photo's to a smart phone or tablet, does the Canon T3i have the same feature? Thanks!

I don’t think that Canon makes one. There are third part options such as CameraMator, or a simple WiFi card (EyeFi).

You can use an EyeFi card with a T3i.
See: http://support.eye.fi/cameras/canon/eos_rebel_t3i_/_600d_/_kiss_x5
Canon makes wireless file transmitters for the mid-range and up, but not for the Rebel bodies.

There's also CamRanger, which is more than you're looking for, but it looks pretty cool:
