Is there an email for canon customer service or a way to contact someone in upper management?

I placed an expensive order for a new camera, lens, shroud, and filter for an important holiday event. I was unsure what size polarizer I needed for the lens I was purchasing. I linked the correct product code for the lens being RF 28-70mm F2.8 IS STM and asked what size polarizer I needed. I was told 82mm. Then I asked if they could link a lens that would fit into our chat. I was linked, the 82mm screw in filter. So I added that polarizer to the order, placed the order, and paid for expedited shipping to ensure the items arrived in time. The items did arrive on time, but the polarizer does not fit the lens. 82mm is much too large and I believe it looks more like a 67mm polarizer is needed. I have the conversation with the representative screen shotted stating 82mm, and providing the link to the 82mm polarizer that did not fit. So now, after rushing/paying extra to get the equipment in time, I can not use it for the holiday event. This is my first time purchasing Canon equipment, and this has left me in a state of regret. I would like to be sent the correct polarizer free of charge, overnight. I was told, I can't exchange the item, but they would accept a return, they also won't refund my expedited shipping. The customer service phone number was useless. I don't think I should be inconvenienced for the employee's incompetence.

Thanks for joining the conversation, Robert11!  Talking directly to our sales team will be the most direct way to resolve this.  You can reach them Monday through Friday at 1-800-385-2155.  Even though you're calling about an existing order, tell the automated voice you're looking to place a new order and that should get you to a live agent.

We look forward to your call!

I talked to a live agent, and they were not helpful. That is why I am looking for a higher level appeal authority.

We understand, and once again, calling our sales team is the most direct path.  If a member of our sales team is unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, you can ask to speak to a supervisor to see if they can assist you further.

This is a user-driven forum and our management team doesn't hang out here.  That's why we're advising you to call.

Have a great day!
