Hi,
I am owning Canon PowerShot SD800 IS digital camera. How do i set self timer to shoot my picture when there is nobody around me.

There is a button on the back of the camera for the self timer. Below the function button is a clock symbol. press this to activate the self timer and select the option for how much time to delay the shot. Page 18 of the basic guide (http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/1/0900001461/01/PSSD800ISIXUS850ISCUGba-EN.pdf) gives the full instructions. Note that the self timer cannot be used in all modes. See page 144 in the advanced user guide (http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/8/0900001458/01/PSSD800ISIXUS850ISCUGad-EN.pdf).
