Hi,
my 1D mark II is acting up. I've just found out that all of my photos taken by my 1D mark II are containing a whiteout area in the middle when setting the shutter speed at 1/50 or faster (the faster the speed, the larger the whiteout). Do any of you know what is the cause and how to fix it? Thanks a lot.

Most likely you need the shutter replaced.

My answer is not based on personal experience but from seeing similar samples with similar questions as to cause at another forum. Hopefully I'm wrong but I don't think so based on the sharp inverted V on the left edge of the problem area.
