I would like to see a 3:1 crop factor added to the 5DsR. One of the great advantages of the 50mp sensor for landscape photographers is the ability to shoot a 3:1 panorama in a single frame. Composition would be easier if we could see the 3:1 crop when the picture is taken.

My minolta APS SLR did this. 8^)
The panoramas would even be automagically printed that way. In some ways I miss APS.
But I don't know that suggestions here make it to the Canon Engineers.

Almost certainly not. On the other hand, I don't have any other way to reach someone in Canon project management. 🙂

I would check to see if there is a focusing screen available that does it in the viewfinder.
