Shutter counts on my 6D

I have a Canon 6D that I was hoping to sell. I did a shutter count on it and it said 116,000 or 116%.

Does this mean it's worthless?

I called my camera repair store and explained it to him, he said these can sometimes can go up to 300,000, it's sellable.

Comments please!

Thanks!

No, it doesn't mean your camera is "worthless." Just list it for sale at a reasonable price. Check the various online sellers to see what the 6D is going for to get a baseline and price yours accordingly.

Looks like Keh camera will pay at least $459 for your camera with battery and charger. Maybe more depending on what condition they assess it.

People obsess over shutter count; I think because it is a "hidden" number, so folks need to get it.

Its not that expensive to replace a shutter; much more important is the overall condition of the camera.
