Jon,
I'm not sure what you mean. My manual only has 223 pages
Page 91 only covers basic viewfinder settings

Jon,
The interval timer does not address my issue is far too impractical for my usage
Thanks for the workaround tho
So question to the group...
Is this forum just for users?
Is those canon provide support through this forum?
I might be barking up the wrong tree here
Yes, this is a user supported forum, moderated by Canon.
For specific Canon support you should call 1-800-OK-CANON.

This is not true. You can enable continuous autofocus on photo mode. The camera will autofocus without the need to press any buttons
The OP was complaining about a lack of Continuous AF in One Shot AF mode.
BTW, the camera does not have an auto pilot in photo mode. FACT, if you are not pressing a button, then the camera will simply not AF, not matter what AF mode you're in.
If you know how to make it work with the shutter delay timer, please enlghten us.

Mr. Waddizle VIP obviously doesn't know about “continues autofocus” on photo mode, lol
The camera absolutely focus on its own if you turn this on
Obviously you do not read User Guide of forum threads.
The OP has complained that continuous AF does not work when you use the shutter delay time.
