Logs

I have a new 70D and E2 gps. The gps tagged individual photos with location information as it should. I used the log feature yesterday on a trip in the country. I have tried to access the logs to no avail. Can someone enlighten me on how to get the logs from the receiver. I have all the Canon software installed and updated on my MacBookPro.

If you installed ImageBrowser then it also installed Map Utility.

If you are on a Windows machine go to the Canon Utilities folder and you should find Map Utility.

I have Map utility installed and it says that it cannot find a GPS.  Connecting the GPS to the computer is the issue.  The Canon instructions are a little vague.  How and what do I connect the GPS to .  The cables provided run from camera to GPS only.

OK. Canon instructions are very poor in this regard. I had same problem initially. The USB cable that connects camera to computer will also connect GPS to computer. It plugs into connect that connects to camera. It's a dual function port.
