Hinge on LCD of Canon 80D

Has anyone experienced mistakenly attempting to vertically turn the LCD screen the wrong way? I am so worried the hinge might break everytime it happens to me.

I've never had an issue with the articulated LCD on either my G5 or my 60D. They always seemed to be almost surprisingly well built. But I think part of the trick is remembering that you're working with a camera and not a Rubiks Cube or fidget spinner.
