HELP! Display not showing on my Canon 80D-suddenly

Hello I hope you can help.  My LCD display on the backof my Canon 80D does not light up at al although my camera otherwise seems to work.  This happened shortly after I was trying to take a few videos which did't work.  I looked at the pictures from my shoot, couuld see them fine.  But when I got home I could see NOTHING in the LCD. So I can't format a card or see any settings.  I tried ALL buttons I could find including the INFO button and the INFO combined with the AF.   The viewfinder display and camera otherwise seems to work fine.  Any ideas?  I obviously can't use the camera like this, none of the settings are displayed, can't see photos after I shoot them, etc.  (Didn't drop or get camera wet, etc.). the battery is fine, the  card is fine.  Then Sensor Cleaning Light DOES come on when turning camera on/off.(????)  Any thoughts VERY appreciated!!!!

Contact Canon Support.  Sounds like your screen may have died, and needs replacement.

Do you have the little eye sensor above the viewfinder that turns off the display? Sometimes the eyepiece dislodges and covers it. At least it does on some Rebels.

As far as I can see It is hardly possible to offer any simple solution here. Most likely, you need to contact a specialist who will test your specific model.
Or try to contact the official technical support: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support

Exactly the same issue. The only thing that will appear is “sensor cleaning” when I turn off the camera. Aside from that, the LCD is completely black. Did you ever get this figured out?
