Is there a way to shoot a five shot bracket with mirror lockup on a 5Dsr? I have not tried it but it just occurred to me that switching to live view before pressing the shutter release might work. Is thete another way to to get the mirror to flip up then capture all five exposures? Thanks.

I would have thought that the mirror would stay up as a matter of course during bracket shooting. Have you tried it? Is the manual silent on the matter? Be sure you're looking at the real one from the CD or the website, not the (probably) abbreviated printed version.

No. Shooting a five shot bracket is exactly the same as pressing the shutter release button in continuous shooting mode and releasing it after five shots. The mirror and shutter cycle for each shot. You can confirm that by looking through the viewfinder during the bracket.

Hello Bazsl,
It's not possible to shoot HDR while in mirror lockup with the EOS 5DS R.
