The electronic level disappears when face detection AF is enabled on the EOS R and on the new EOS RP. This is rather unhelpful.
It would be quite nice if customers would be allowed to use the electronic level when using face detection AF.

We are just users so there is no guarantee that the folks at Canon that matter will ever see this.

Yes, agree. It is my experience Canon tries to keep pace with Nikon rather that listen to its customer base.

How did you get an RP? Even B&H doesn't have it available yet. That suggests that you're part of a beta test group. If so, I'd think that Canon would be more likely to listen to you than to us on a point like that.
