Canon 6d mark ii with canon 430ex ii speedlite

I have just update from 60D to 6D mark ii. With the 60D and my 430ex ii, i use godox cell ii-c to enable me get HSS. Now with the 6d mark ii, i am able to set the speed at 1/800 but when i press the shutter and the flash fires, there's no effect. The speed then show 1/180th. Is it that am not doing something right or the HSS transceiver is compatible.

Which HSS trigger will be help me now and in the future when i get strobes.

Please help me out. Thanks

You should try to access the external flash menu on the 6DII to see if you can communicate with the Cell II-c by activating HSS using the camera, not the Godox transceiver.

There is a distinct possibility that the Godox Cell IIc is not compatible with the newer Canon camera such as the 6DII. It does not appear that Godox even has a firmware update for this unit so your option is limited. You might want to invest in the Godox wireless X system.
