Can't download images from EOS 7D II to my computer Windows 10

I have just updated to WIndows 10 and now cannot download images from my camera. EOS Utility activates only one action: "Monitor folder". Please help to solve this problem.

Use a card reader. Kingston works great for me. Lexar usb3 dual slot never worked for me.

Thank  you Peter,

in meantime I've found an easy solution - From Lightroom > Import - directly from the camera with option: Copy files to my harddisk. I had never thought of this option, it is so obvious....

Don't forget to format your card in the camera after the transfer.

Yes, I just erased the images.

Are you saying that the EOS Utility isn't running under Windows 10?

If the EOS Utility isn't running, then it could be as simple as performing a Windows update.  Just be sure to enable the option to enable update of non-Windows applications.  Windows 10 does not come with Media Player. It uses a substitute.

It is an optional feature on some installs of Windows 10.  Here's how to check for it on your system.
